Authorities Inspect Medical Shops in Kangan, Two Notices Issued

Kangan, Apr 03 (KNO): Acting on directions of the Sub Divisional Magistrate issued during the last NCORD meeting, a joint inspection of medical shops was carried out in Kangan market and areas around Sub District Hospital Kangan. The inspection team included Dr. Salma, Medical Superintendent SDH Kangan, Dr. Shibeer Ahmad Bhat, ADC Ganderbal Bandipora, and Ms. Hadiya Shah, Drugs Control Officer Ganderbal. Officials from Police Station Kangan also joined the drive, including ASI Abdul Majeed. During the inspection, authorities checked compliance with prescribed norms and regulations. Two medical shops were served notices for violations and non compliance. The team also conducted a prescription audit in coordination with Dr. Majid of SDH Kangan to verify adherence to proper dispensing practices. Officials said such inspections will continue to ensure strict enforcement of drug regulations and safeguard public health in the area—(KNO)
